Setting goals: how do you do that?

What are the steps to achieve your goals
Step 1: Dare to Dream!
What do you really want to achieve? What makes you happy? What would you most like to do if everything is possible? Try not to think about what can’t be done, but focus on what can be done! Think about these questions.

Step 3: Aim your goal(s) with others!
It can be very helpful to talk to others about the goals you have set. For example, they can help you. But they can also remind you of the goal when you may have forgotten it yourself. Others can motivate you well!
Different types of goals
If you intend to set a goal for yourself, you can think of different goals. For example, you can choose from a longer-term goal, a short-term goal, an immediate goal or a dream goal. The goals are clearly defined below:
A longer term goal
A long-term goal actually means: a goal over a longer period of time. But what is a “longer time”? Usually a long-term goal is a period of 3 to 6 months. Examples of a longer-term goal could be: in 3 months I want to be able to get up every day at 08:00 without any effort. You could also choose, for example: in 6 months I want to have a six-pack.
An immediate goal
An immediate goal actually means: a goal that you want to achieve immediately. This is a goal that you want to achieve, for example on the next day or the next lesson. For example, an immediate goal might be: I’m going to stop daydreaming next class.
A dream goal
A dream goal is actually a goal that you want to achieve over a very long time. When we think of a dream goal, we often think of years. Such a goal can be, for example: in 10 years I want to look like a bodybuilder.
